A Christmas eve missive...

It's a mystical, magical time of year

When we send glad tidings and cheer

We stay up late, we drink and be merry

Eat flour, white sugar and too much dairy

We know what is waiting on the other side

The inevitable 2021 from which we cannot hide

So onward and upward don't think too far ahead

Enjoy the present for it has been said

We only get this moment, this one chance

Cherish it, live in it and don't forget to dance
