🤷‍♂️Why is 10,000 steps a day the magic number? And what does it really mean?

10,000 steps a day is equivalent to 5 miles. But what it really means is move constantly thr👣oughout the day. 💪

😞We truly live in a sedentary world of convenience. We sit or stand at our jobs all day, typically with our heads down and our arms in front of our bodies all day long. We don't take our breaks, and exercise "maybe" if we can squeeze it in then eat fast, processed convenient food on top of it all.

👠We wear shoes that don't allow our toes to move independently, we walk on smooth surfaces, and don't get enough vitamin D or fresh air.

Our bodies were MADE to move. Our bodies NEED exercise to move lymph, strengthen our heart muscle, and increase our lung capacity. Our toes serve a purpose, they NEED to move freely and independently of each other over rough terrain. 👣

👉👉👉These are simple needs that are forgotten or overlooked.

😎So at a MINIMUM get your 10,000 steps a day in. Move that lymph, get outside and BREATHE, get your vitamin D, and get off road! You will see a HUGE difference in your stamina, your weight and your outlook on life!
