Why weeds?

I found this AMAZING "weed" on my hike the other day. This beauty was as tall as I was. I know 5' might not be tall to you, but to me that's TALL! ha! 😎

🌵This is called Common Mullein. I know we think of weeds as pesky things we want to get rid of, but believe it or not, weeds have many health benefits and can be used for many different purposes. Mullein can be used in teas and the leaves can be eaten in salads. Mullein is also used for coughs, whooping cough, tuberculosis, bronchitis, hoarseness, pneumonia, earaches, colds, chills, flu, swine flu, fever, allergies, tonsillitis, and sore throat. Other uses include asthma, diarrhea, colic, gastrointestinal bleeding, migraines, joint pain, and gout.

The most surprising benefit is LUNG HEALTH! It specifically removes mucus from the lungs with the proper dosages and uses. 🌺

Who knew right? 🤷‍♀️

🧐It's always nice to have a DIFFERENT perspective of looking at something that we're told is awful and evil when in fact it can be very healing and possess important health benefits!

Cheers to health my friends!
