Foam rolling for injury prevention

Foam rolling isn't for sissy's! It's for people who really care about preventing injury and reducing muscle soreness.

I always say: "The first time is the worst" and that really holds true in every situation. Whether it's your first workout, or your first foam roll. It always gets better the more you do it.

If you're looking to reduce muscle soreness, foam rolling is a MUST after every workout followed by stretching. If you're looking to prevent injury, foam rolling is a MUST before workout.

Foam rolling breaks down the fascia surrounding the muscles so they can move more effectively. If you've ever heard the old adage 'you can't stretch a tight muscle' that's the truth. It's the fascia that's protecting it. Break that down and make it more pliable, the muscle will then be more pliable and able to function/stretch.
