Menopause series: Part 4 (lethargy)

Here we are in part 4 of the menopause series:
๐ฅLETHARGY!๐ฅ
๐๐ผ If you've missed my previous posts about menopause, you can check them out by searching self care, or programs. This week we discuss lethargy and menopause.
Let me tell you...it's a real thing. As estrogen and progesterone take a nose dive, cortisol increases and affects testosterone which is ENERGY! So many things are happening at once, it's hard to discern what to fix first.
๐๐ผ Some really quick and easy fixes:
1) Clean up your diet! Eliminate or at least reduce caffeine, grains, sugar and DAIRY.
2) Increase your water intake: drink 1/2 your body weight in ounces of pure water!
3) Dial in your sleep. Get a sleep routine and stick to it for more that 1 week.
4) Listen to your body--if it says rest...REST!
5) Reduce your stress in every way you possibly can.
๐ค If you still find that these quick fixes aren't doing the trick--then it's time to supplement your nutritional needs. Here are some of the heavy hitters:
Magnesium
Fish oil
Vit. C
Curcumrx
Multi vit for women over 40
Vit. D
B12
๐ด Still not getting that boost you used to get? You might benefit from doing a Wellness Scan! It scans the 4 core wellness systems of your body and dials in what could be going on deep below the surface besides the obvious!
forcefitness.us/schedule to schedule your scan here!
But the BEST part of all of this is that I'll be covering it all MORE in depth in my 8 week M.E.D.S.S. course found only in my Force Fitness app!! Available to you July 5th!
๐ฅณ I take you through hormonal friendly workouts (yes, it's a thing)
