Take it from Janelle, these are her words after completing the AB-Solutions Core Training Program.


I am not a spring chicken (I’m pretty sure I’m 10-20 years older than most of the members in Anneliese’s classes), but have worked out in some fashion for most of my adult life and felt I was in okay shape for my age.  While lifting my 7 year-old handicapped grandson from the floor to his wheelchair (something I’ve done a million times), I felt a sort of “snap” in my lower back.  I’ve never had back problems and I didn’t think much of it.  I went about my day and continued to lift him as needed while he was in my care for the next two days.  The next day I hosted a weekend 80th birthday party for my dad.  I helped set up outside tents, tables, cooked and carried things (you get the picture).  My back was kind of bothering me then, but I could deal with it.  The very next day, following the party, I set out for a 4-day backpacking trip (about 32 miles, 5,000ft up/2,000ft down) with a 45-50lb pack.  When I returned from that trip my back REALLY hurt.  Ah, but I wasn’t done.  Two days later, I went camping for the weekend.  No, not in camper, in a tent on the ground.  After that weekend I could hardly walk I was in so much pain.  I was seriously crippled at that point.  The pain went from my lower back all the way down to my foot.  Still, I thought I could push through it.  Eventually, my dear husband talked me into going to a chiropractor (I had never been to a chiropractor before).  The chiropractor encouraged me to continue my workouts.  He said, “motion is lotion”.  So I did, but, oh how it hurt! I modified everything and still couldn’t do most of the workout. At one of those painful workouts, Anneliese mentioned to the class that she had a workout program for people with back problems (if anyone was interested).   I was very interested!  I ordered the 4-week program and started it on Monday.  By Wednesday, I could not believe my relief.  After two weeks, I felt like Anneliese was a miracle worker.  She gave me my life back!  I seriously thought my only option was drugs or surgery, neither of which I could stomach.  I’m so grateful.  Today, my core is stronger than it has been in years.  I faithfully do these core exercises, yes Anneliese, “3X a day”.  Thank you Anneliese, you are a Godsend.
