Thankful Thursday!


🙏How great it is to be alive!


What is it like to wake up daily and give thanks for being alive? Pretty damn cool I would say.


It's called a mindset reframe.


I really try to stay true to my morning routine of gratefulness. It includes, journaling, meditation, incense, candles, soft music. I literally do this before I start my day to get my mind clear and my head straight as to how I envision the day going.


❤ Showing gratitude sets my mood. It's pretty hard to be mad, disturbed, sad or anything other than happy when I focus on all the things I'm grateful for. I know it's easier to say than do, because I never used to do this. I would push my alarm to the last second, fly out of bed, scramble to get ready for the day and feel behind and disorganized all day. Gosh I hated that! It didn't feel great to be alive then....


I will say, when I made it a habit--it was and is easier to accomplish. I had to make it a priority until it became natural and routine. Now I feel lost if I DON'T do it.
