Have you noticed

🤔 Have you noticed how your workouts, your energy, your motivation has changed as you age?
Well, I sure have.
The way my body moves has changed, my motivation has changed, the way I think has changed as I have aged.
😎 My goals have changed, my purpose has changed, I have changed.
It's interesting to look back at my driving force for why I did what I did. I used to work out 2 times a day, sometimes 3 times a day trying to achieve "that perfect body" that just never materialized or met my expectations. I would starve myself, do all the trendy diets. I did it all. And it didn't matter what others thought, it mattered what I thought.
I was so hard on myself, never happy, never satisfied, never good enough. That was the story I told myself.
WOW! What a bunch of BS. 💩
I would like to say (or think) that I've changed my thoughts and perceptions of myself and how I treat my body. My motivation has changed, my WHY has changed right along with my goals.
The best part of my "growing up" is that I DON'T beat myself up mentally if I eat something "bad" or try killing myself with insane workouts.
Now I workout 20 - 30 minutes a day, 4-5 days a week and get in 10,000 steps most days. I watch what I eat, but I still live life.
